The bus doesn’t run for 24 hours 7 days of the week. I found out that on Mondays, the buses don’t start to run till around 7am. There was a Sunday I came in from London, I arrived Swansea by 12.10am on Monday. I had to trek home eventually with my luggage. A journey that took me almost 1 hour. And the info at Bay campus bus stop kept giving a time that the bus was supposed to arrive. Also, at the end of term, buses stop running from 7pm. While I understand that buses run reduced services at this time, it doesn’t bode well that from 7pm, there are no buses 8,9 or 10. I believe this should be addressed.
Buses can be VERY late which may prevent me from attending my lessons as I cannot be late for more than 10 minutes and sometimes the buses can be even 20 minutes late as there are a lot of students getting on and off so I think there should be more buses running or there should be some buses running only through student housing ending at the campus to prevent student from being late to classes
Id probably say more busses to town. they all seem to drive through town but never stop at the bus station. would also help with confusion caused by the bus names.
I cannot make the meeting but is it possible to have one bus that goes from Singleton campus to Bay Campus that doesn’t take 40 minutes. I understand its necessary to link up Uplands and the city centre but one bus (like there used to be) that goes straight from Singleton to Bay down the coast road that only takes 20 minutes would be ace.
Run the 9 bus every 15 minutes like the other routes. It would be a lot easier to transfer to other buses and it would mean less crowding around the Kingsway and train station stops.
