Due to the condition of the main Bay Campus car park, owned by St Modwen, and significant works required there to comply with the original campus planning consent, the car park will close on 1st February until further notice. We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause.
As you know there is no parking for students in the staff car park between the core hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Parking permits (including out of hours permits) are available to students who meet the criteria – please see our travel webpages.
Alternative Parking Arrangements At Bay Studios From 1st February For Current Permit Holders
For University parking permit holders, we have set up alternative parking facilities adjacent to campus at the Bay Studios off Fabian Way (see map and directions below).
Student parking permit holders (sport scholars, carers permits, medical permits and creche users) can make use of these facilities using their existing permits. Those with out of hours permits can use the facility for out of hours parking only – please scan the QR codes available on site for payment via the TPS portal – select Bay Studios, and then follow the easy on-screen instructions. Please note there is a small admin fee of £0.20 to use the online service. Information about parking permits is available here.
The pedestrian routes from the car park to the Bay Campus are outlined in the plan below/online here. The car park is a short walk from campus. Please take care when crossing the busy dual carriageway and ensure you cross at one of the designated pedestrian crossings, which are outlined in the plan below/here.

Parking for Blue Badge Holders
Students who are blue badge holders can continue to park on campus as normal – Security Services will be managing traffic flow on site.
Considerate Parking
Staff and students should not park in the local residential areas or on local business premises such as Amazon, where you will likely receive a parking charge notice. Please be mindful of our neighbours and park considerately and responsibly.
