We are delighted to officially launch the Black History Mural on the Union House wall – a project born from a vision to celebrate Black Welsh figures. Selected with consideration, Vaughan Gething and Betty Campbell have been chosen by our students to symbolise reflections on our shared past, our present, and the enduring values these remarkable individuals represent.
The impact of this mural goes beyond the visual; it stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, fostering unity, resilience, and a deeper understanding of diverse histories. This project was led by Dr Lella Nouri and supported by the Academy.
If you are visiting or studying on Singleton Campus, don’t forget to look out for this incredible mural!
