An initial version of your timetable for the next teaching block is now available to view. We understand how important it is for you to have early sight of your teaching timetable and we have endeavoured to provide this.

Please note that your timetable is subject to change and further refinement over the course of the next few weeks and during the first few weeks of teaching.

In light of this, we would like to ask all students to be cautious when making any plans around this initial schedule, and we encourage you to continuously check your timetable for any further refinements as we progress into the semester.

We want to take this opportunity to highlight the level of consideration that goes into creating a timetable that meets the diverse needs of our Swansea community. Several factors influence timetable creation and subsequent changes:

  1. Number of students: Ensuring that classes are appropriately sized to enhance your teaching experience.
  2. Teaching spaces: Matching suitable class sizes to suitable teaching spaces to elevate your learning.
  3. Accessibility requirements: Accommodating the accessibility requirements of our students and staff.
  4. IT resources and specialist equipment: Ensuring that you and your lecturer have access to the necessary state of the art technology and equipment to enrich your learning.
  5. Flexible learning and teaching benefits: Allowing the selection, changing, and moving of modules to suit your student needs, personalising your learning experience.

As you can understand, these factors require careful consideration and coordination, which can lead to necessary adjustments as we progress into the new teaching block.

We appreciate your understanding, patience and cooperation. The start of a new teaching block is an exciting time, and we wish you the best of luck.
