Your graduation is fast approaching, here’s what you can expect on the big day!
We also wanted to take this opportunity to confirm your attendance at this Winter’s graduation ceremonies! Most of you will have now received your results. The outcome of your results now confirms your attendance at graduation. If your award was already confirmed prior to yesterday, your attendance was confirmed at the time of your results. Congratulations to you all, the class of 2024!
Step 1 – Arrival (The Bay Campus)
Make sure you are dressed to impress and arrive in style! We recommend arriving 1.5 hours before the start of your ceremony.
Graduation can get quite busy, so it’s important you leave yourself plenty of time! As the saying goes, if you’re early, you’re on time.
Depending on how you are travelling to our Bay Campus, you will need to factor this into your journey time and planning, here’s all your travel information you need.

Step 2 – Registration, Guest Tickets & Robing (The College)
You first stop is at The College building, where you are required to register in person. You will be able to collect:
- Your registration card.
- Your two free guest tickets (if you previously ordered e-tickets, please don’t worry, we will now issue you physical tickets).
- Your degree certificate.
Please remember to keep your registration card safe, you will need it when being seated at your ceremony.
From here you can collect and put on your robes, be sure to have your Ede & Ravenscroft order confirmation email to hand to speed up the process (the one with a QR code on it!).
Step 3 – Photography (Y Twyni)
A team of professional photographers from Tempest will be available to cater for all your photography needs! There is no need to pre book, just turn up on the day. You can have your photos taken before of after your ceremony, just make sure you are wearing your robes.

Step 4 – Your Ceremony (The Great Hall)
Doors will open 30 minutes before your ceremony start time. All students and guests are required to be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony start time. It is important you adhere to these timings.
For any guests that do not have a ticket, a live feed room is available in room GH043 within The Great Hall.

Step 5 – Post Ceremony Celebrations (The Hideaway)
Swing by the Hideaway (before or) after your ceremonies for all your celebratory needs!
This exciting new addition to our ceremonies is your gateway to graduation merch, photo walls, purchase celebration drinks, your Alumni Team, meet your lecturers, the Employability Academy, further postgraduate studies, on-stage photography, ceremony downloads and much more!
Graduation day is a celebration of your hard work and achievements, remember to take the time to enjoy the moment and celebrate with those who supported you along the way.
