Extenuating Circumstances

The University recognises that students may be affected by a wide range of circumstances which may lead to the inability to prepare for or undertake assessments.

If you are unable to prepare for or undertake assessments because of these difficulties, you can apply for extenuating circumstances via e:Vision, you also need to inform your Faculty Student Experience and Information Team in your Faculty/School as soon as possible. This guide has been produced to help you understand what you should do if you are experiencing any personal difficulties or extenuating circumstances which you feel are affecting your studies.

General Exam Information

For general examination queries, please see the Exam Offices’ pages, which contains information on the ‘dos and don’ts’ during your exams, examination locations and FAQ’s. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact The Exams Office.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish you the best of luck with your assessments and exams!
