The Language Café is a weekly event held on campus during term time. It’s a vibrant space where students can learn and practice different languages in a relaxed and fun environment. Each session features tables dedicated to specific languages, with Language Leaders guiding conversations and teaching useful phrases.

• Native speakers or fluent speakers of any language.
• Friendly, approachable individuals with a passion for sharing their language and culture.
• No teaching experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to engage with students!

• A chance to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• The opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and cultural exchange skills.
• A certificate of participation to enhance your CV.
• Personalised references for future job applications or academic opportunities

• Lead a language table for 90 minutes weekly during term time.
• Create lessons for the sessions (lesson plans provided)
