Temporary Road Closure Planned for Thursday 20 February
UPP are planning urgent boiler replacement works on Llywelyn Fawr and Ewlo Residential blocks at Bay Campus.
The works are planned for 20 February but will move to 21 February in the event of high winds delaying the works. To facilitate the works, a section of Severn Way, the road running in front of Tafarn Tawe, Tesco and the Hideaway etc. will be closed to traffic and pedestrians between 8am and midday – see plan below.
Please note there will be a crane on site, and during the second lift, between around 9 and 10am, there will be no pedestrian access to Tafan Tawe, Tesco or Subway.
Our Security and Campus Response Team will be on site to help manage the closure, during which, the buses will pick up and drop off outside campus on the main road.
