We are pleased to announce that the Swansea University Postgraduate Research Festival will be taking place throughout May.

The PGR Festival will highlight the work of our PGR community and celebrate the outstanding contribution PGR students make to the University.

The highlight of the festival is the annual PGR Showcase, held in the Taliesin on May 21st  featuring the final of Three Minute Thesis (3MT), poster event, and the PGR Awards. It is also a chance to meet with other PGRs and staff from across the university. At 3MT our best and brightest PGRs from across the three faculties will be sharing their research topics in just three minutes, with only one slide to help them.

Each faculty will host their own PGR conference during the festival, giving PGRs the chance to gain experience presenting and sharing their research with peers and academics. PGRs and staff are encouraged to attend sessions across all of the conferences as an opportunity to discover more about the brilliant research being carried out in all our disciplines.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: 12th – 13th May

Faculty of Science and Engineering: 15th May

Faculty of Medicine Health and Life Science: 19th – 20th May

Further events taking place across the month of May will be announced in the coming months.
