International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Dedicated to accelerating women’s equality, IWD also marks a global call to action to lobby for gender parity.

Share your powerful and inspiring ideas on how we will help to forge women’s equality by using the interactive stand on display outside the Student Information office.

One of our January entries PGT students will be leading an art class. She is a teacher in her home country and is keen to share her skills and improve our student’s experience. The classes will run over several weeks.

Staff and students will be encouraged to wear something purple on the day in support of IWD, and there will also be musical performances on the day from music scholarship students.
