If you are experiencing any financial difficulties, we would encourage you to take a look at the Hardship fund, which is a non-repayable fund to support students by the Money Advice Team.

This fund is intended to assist students financially to enable participation in extra-curricular activities that may benefit general health and wellbeing (this list is not exhaustive).
Each Support Payment will be £150, is non means tested and is subject to availability. Students will only per permitted to receive one award per academic year and may be expected to demonstrate that it has been used for its intended purpose if applying in subsequent years and priority will be given to students facing financial hardship.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply for the Belonging Support Payment, you must:
- Be a current, enrolled student
- Have more than 5 weeks remaining of your course

Please select the Student Support Fund, then click the ‘Belonging Support’ option in the dropdown menu.
Please note that you will only need to provide one months bank statements for all accounts held.
Applications can only be processed when all required evidence is uploaded onto the online form.
