Your Library is always aiming to improve its resources to make them more accessible and relevant to you. Your feedback of the library is invaluable in helping us shape these changes, so we thank you sincerely for helping us improve our services.

We understand that utilising and finding digital resources that are relevant to your study is crucial to your learning. Not only have we increased these resources, but we’re also making sure they are more accessible to you. For example, the Browzine tool is a free resource where you can concentrate your search by subject field, save your resources to a list called a ‘bookshelf’ and organise them into individual ‘shelves’ – you can do this for assignment topic, module topic, casual reading etc. Use this resource however you like! Here’s a video guide on how to use it.

We also offer a variety of digital resources to make finding materials easier, including the LibKey Nomad Browser extension. Simply download the extension and when you search for resources online, it will connect our library’s resources with scholarly articles you find in PubMed, Wikipedia and hundreds of Scholarly Publisher Websites.

For more support with online resources, speak to our library staff and we will be more than happy to help.

We would like to stress once again; we really rely on your feedback to make these changes happen. If you’ve got any thoughts, the Big Swansea Survey is now open until the 30th of April 2025. We hope you find these updates helpful!
