At Swansea University, we are committed to promoting an inclusive, anti-racist community where all students and staff feel valued and supported.

As part of our ongoing work towards race equality and in alignment with our commitment to the Race Equality Charter, we are proud to acknowledge the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21st March 2025.

To mark this important day, we are encouraging students to engage with the University’s Anti-Racism Course, which has been developed by students for students, and can be accessed using this self-enrol link- Enrol in NAC – Anti-racism Course.

This self-paced online course on Canvas provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of race, racism, and anti-racism.

By completing the course, you will:

  • Develop critical thinking by engaging in discussions on race, racism, and anti-racism
  • Strengthen your cultural awareness and intercultural communication skills, highly valued by employers
  • Develop the tools to challenge discrimination and advocate for anti-racism
  • Receive a certificate of completion
