Your Graduation checklist
Step 1:
Register your attendance
Hopefully you’ve just completed this step!
Step 2:
Book your robes (cap and gown)
On Thursday 1st May you will be able to book your robes (cap and gown). We will email you the booking link and accompanying instructions – it couldn’t be easier.
Step 3:
Photography
Official photography will operate as a walk up service on the day. You are not required to book this in advance.
You can also purchase photography of your moment crossing the stage, along with a video download of the whole congregation.
Step 4:
Travel & 'on the day' information
Further and more detailed travel information will be communicated with you in June. However, some initial information is now available.
On the day of your graduation congregation students are advised to arrive approximately 1.5 hours before your congregation.
Step 5:
Book your guest tickets
In early July all registered attendees will be entitled to book 2 guest tickets free of charge! Please note, you must book these tickets, they are not automatically allocated (again, we will email you when the time comes!). A limited amount further guest tickets in addition to the 2 free tickets will also be available to purchase.
Remember, in order to be eligible for our summer Graduation ceremonies, you must successfully complete your programme of study with your marks confirmed by a Progression and Award Board and have no outstanding tuition fee debt owed to the University.
If you do not meet this criterion, you will be unable to attend your graduation and will be invited to the next available set of ceremonies upon completion of your programme. Please keep this in mind when preparing for the event, for example if booking flights and hotels.
