Another incredible year of sport at Swansea University was brought to a fitting close on Friday 6th June, as the much-anticipated 2025 Swansea University Sports Awards took centre stage at the Brangwyn Hall. The evening was a fantastic celebration of the dedication, success, and spirit of our student athletes, sports clubs, coaches, volunteers, and supporters.
This year’s event recognised not just individual and team excellence, but also the resilience, commitment, and camaraderie that makes Sport at Swansea University so special. From standout performances and inspiring leadership to social media innovation and community fundraising, the awards captured the full spectrum of sporting achievement across our campus.
The ceremony also provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the friendships formed, challenges overcome, and unforgettable memories created throughout the year. It was a night of celebration, pride, and appreciation for everyone who has contributed to the thriving sports community at Swansea.
