We’re looking forward to welcoming those of you have been on summer vacation back for the new academic year. As you prepare to return, please take note of the following key information to ensure a smooth start to the term.
Enrolment
All students are required to enrol at the start of every new academic year. You will be emailed when it is time to enrol, however you can find the relevant enrolment and teaching start dates on our web pages.
Student ID Cards
Returning students are not required to collect a new ID card. Please ensure you bring your existing card with you when you arrive on campus.
Faculty Communications
Important updates regarding welcome back and teaching activities will be shared by your Faculty via Canvas Hubs and University email. We encourage you to check both regularly in the lead-up to term.
You can find your teaching timetable on our web pages.
Ever wondered how your university timetable comes together? It might feel like magic, but behind the scenes, it’s a giant puzzle – and fitting the pieces together is no easy task. See how we timetable 22,000 unique schedules.
Changes to Faculty Information Desks and the launch of Hwb
As communicated last term, how you access information has changed over the summer period, and MyUniHub and the Faculty Student Information teams have now merged into one simple, student-focused service.
Launching on the 1st September, you can contact Hwb or visit our knowledge base for information on:
- Enrolment
- ID card issuing
- Student finance and fees
- Course and programmes queries
- Assessment and exams
- Disability and wellbeing queries
- Student letters and forms
We wish you all the best with the new academic year ahead and look forward to seeing you on campus!
