Harbwr and Nanhyfer (ground floor) are now 24/7! The Singleton and Bay Campus spaces offer a safe, comfortable and modern study environment for all students. Harbwr and Nanhyfer provide a dedicated student space that more closely reflects the demand for round-the-clock study requirements. All students can make the most of these spaces immediately!
Extended Library opening hours
From the start of term, the Singleton Park and Bay Campus Libraries will be extending their opening hours. Our longer hours are designed to match the times most students use our spaces and the addition of Harbwr and Nanhyfer 24/7 will cater for those wanting a later finish or earlier start.
From October onwards (covering Semester 1):
- Monday – Friday, 8AM – 12AM (midnight)
- Saturday – Sunday, 12PM (midday) – 8PM
The Library Information Desks will be staffed:
- Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM

As an added security measure, we recommend downloading the Safezone App for easy access to our Security and Campus Response Team who are on campus 24/7. Please note that from 11PM, Harbwr is open as student space only – there will be no catering services available after 8PM and other areas of the Fulton House Building will be closed.
Our top priority is focussing our services, efforts and resources on the issues that matter most to you. That’s why we’re making sure you have uninterrupted access to our online guides, as well as over a million resources, with in-person support available when demand is greatest.
These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to listen to students and provide spaces that meet your needs. The suitability of the study spaces themselves are on trial, and we’ll continue to review students’ usage and feedback, alongside your Students’ Union.
