The Money Advice Team
The award-winning Money Advice team are here to provide information, advice and guidance to the diverse student population at Swansea University and our prospective students.
We advise on student funding, financial hardship, budgeting and also provide financial assistance to students who have additional considerations such as being a care leaver, a carer or being estranged from your family. If you do not fall within any of these groups but feel you have specific considerations that may require financial support*, please contact us.


Careers & Employability
We support our students and recent graduates with developing their employability and career development planning, and work with employers to promote work experience and job opportunities.
Our Careers and Employability team offers one-to-one guidance, workshops, and resources to help you plan your career path, enhance your skills, and connect with employers. Whether you’re exploring your options or ready to take the next step, we’re here to help you succeed during and after your studies.
Student Support Services
We offer specialist advice, guidance, and support options for students experiencing challenges during their time at university.
Our services are for students experiencing emotional and personal difficulties as well as more complex long-term issues including sensory or physical impairments, long term medical conditions, specific learning difficulties (SpLD), autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), and mental health conditions; to ensure that all Swansea University students have equal learning opportunities.

Hapus – The Student Life Toolkit
Hapus is an online course that prepares you for the mental, emotional, and practical challenges of university.
We recommend you work through the toolkit within the first few weeks of term or before you arrive in Swansea if you are a new student. It will take around an hour, but you don’t have to complete it all in one go; you can take your time, save your progress and come back to it later.
You can access the course via your Canvas account, it is available in English, Welsh, Chinese and Arabic.

Report & Support
Report + Support is a confidential platform where students and staff can disclose concerns about issues like sexual misconduct, violence, stalking, bullying, and safeguarding.
You can choose to report anonymously or with contact details, and the service offers guidance, support, and links to university and external resources to help you.
A disclosure takes a few minutes. They are confidential and only passed onto relevant staff on a strictly need-to-know basis.


Multifaith
The Multi-faith serivce is here for students, staff and community members. All people are welcomed, supported and enriched.
Swansea University’s Faith Team offer an open and inclusive service to students, staff and the wider community. Our mission is to offer a safe space for everyone; to explore faith in an open and inclusive environment; to foster co-operation and collaboration between faiths; to offer confidential and non-judgmental support, advice and guidance to anyone who seeks it and provide targeted social events to foster a sense of community and belonging.

SU Advice & Support Centre
The Swansea University Students’ Union support page provides access to solutions and guidance for a wide range of student queries, including help with Union services, memberships, events, and complaints.
You can browse self-help articles, submit support tickets, and explore FAQs to quickly resolve issues or find the information you need. The team is dedicated to ensuring every student feels supported and can easily access the right help when they need it.
