In recognition of Hate Crime Awareness Week, we wanted to remind you of the support that is available to you here at Swansea University, and how you should report a hate crime if you experience or witness one.
A hate crime can take place if someone is targeted because of their identity. If you experience or witness a hate crime, report it. If someone is targeted because of a hostility or prejudice based on these five strands, you should report it:
- Disability
- Race or ethnicity
- Religion
- Sexual orientation
- Transgender identity
