Join a research on taste perceptions for different foods products.

Participants will need to attend two in-person sessions at Swansea University (Singleton campus) where they will be presented with some taster biscuits to eat and fill in some questions regarding taste perceptions.

Seeking individuals:

  • over 18 years
  • not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • not had bariatric surgery nor are taking any glp-1 agonists (e.g., ozempic, Mounjaro)
  • not actively dieting for weight loss
  • have no allergies to biscuits, dark chocolate or jam
  • and do not have dental/chewing/swallowing difficulties.

Participation will take approximately just under 1 hour split across three sessions. Each session will take approximately 15 minutes and will take place on 3 days split 48 hours apart: Monday; Wednesday; Friday (if you are interested in participating but are unable to make those days, please contact Rory Tucker using the address below and alternative times may be able to be arranged).

Upon completion participants will be compensated with either 8 participant pool credits or a £25 ‘One For All’ voucher.

Please note, Swansea University staff may participate in the study but will not be to be able receive the voucher.
