On Friday 6 February, we will be carrying out works to upgrade the lighting in Car Park 2, the main staff car park opposite the Talbot Building on Singleton Campus.
The new lighting will improve energy efficiency, as well as safety and security within the car park.
To allow this work to be carried out safely, Car Park 2 will be closed from 7:30am to 4:30pm on Friday 6 February.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to carry out these works over a weekend. The work has therefore been scheduled for a Friday, when demand for parking on campus is expected to be lower.
All other car parks on campus will remain open, including overflow parking at the Recreation Ground. Information about bus travel and cycling options is available online.
