How can Money@CampusLife support me?
I am a Home Fee Student
Swansea University Opportunity Award (SUOA)
Assistance with Diagnostic Testing (SpLD)
If you require an SpLD diagnosis as a gateway to accessing supplementary support for your studies are you struggling to fund the cost of a test, you can apply to the Assistance with Diagnostic Testing fund. Awards are based on current financial hardship and are capped solely for the cost of an SpLD diagnostic test however, if you are successful in getting an award from the fund it is non-repayable.

Are there any other financial support options available?
Childcare Support Payment
Our Childcare Support Payment is intended as a supplement to the childcare grant provided by your student finance provider. Awards are available up to a maximum of £1000 (full time students) and £500 (part time students). Eligibility criteria applies.
Maternity Support Payment
Did you know that we offer a non-repayable award to provide financial support to students who are pregnant? The Maternity Support Payment is a one-off grant of £600. Applications need to be made 10 weeks before your due date and we require a MATB1 form as evidence to support your application.
Bereavement Support Payment
Money@CampusLife recognise how difficult bereavement is and how impactful it can be on your studies. The Bereavement Support Payment is a one-off award of £300 to help with unexpected financial costs associated with bereavement.*
*If you are an International Student who has experienced a recent bereavement that has impacted your financial plan please apply for this support via the International Student Support Fund (more details on this fund are included below).

International Student Support Fund (ISSF)
Money@CampusLife are pleased to be able to provide the International Student Support Fund (ISSF) for the 23/24 academic year. The International Student Support Fund is a hardship fund aimed at supporting International Students in short-term financial difficulty.
The International Student Support Fund offers non-repayable awards to international students who require financial support due to unexpected circumstances.
You will be required to show that you made adequate financial provision for your tuition fees and living costs before starting your course.
