The Environment Centre is running a Repair Café on Singleton Campus at Swansea University!
Date/time: 23rd October 2024, 6-8pm
Location: Harbwr Games Room, First Floor of Fulton House, Singleton Campus
Open to all Swansea University students and staff. The volunteers will do their best to fix your items, for free!
Divert waste from landfill, promote the circular economy and extend the life of your items!
Item types included in the Repair Café are:
- Fabric repairs to clothing, cushions and bags
- Computers: hardware and software
- Household electricals e.g. toasters, kettles, hairdryers (no white goods)
- Jewellery
- General repairs to household goods and ornaments e.g. gluing, fixing, woodwork etc
- Bike safety checks and basic maintenance
- No phone/screen repairs but the repairers can try to clean out charging ports
Book to guarantee your place or just turn up! First come first served. If the Eventbrite tickets are sold out, you can still come along.
