The results are in for October’s Society of The Month! With such a range of brilliant and worthy nominations, and with so many amazing societies in action this year, it’s been a real tough one for the Students’ Union to judge.

But, without further ado, the winners are……..UniBoob!

The UniBoob society exist to raise awareness of breast cancer education, alongside the charity CoppaFeel. The team are dedicated to raising money for and awareness of this amazing charity through fun events and fundraising.

The UniBoob society have worked incredibly hard this month together with sports societies such as Women’s Cricket and will deliver a speech at their annual Ladies Day all about the important of checking your chest.

They have also hosted a range of events at JC’s including a karaoke night, a pub quiz, and an open mic night, all in aid of CoppaFeel.

If their fundraising efforts aren’t admiral enough, the team have also smashed their target of getting 20 sign ups to their group chat where they share information on chest checking and breast cancer awareness. They already have over 87 members!

Congratulations, UniBoob! Keep spreading the important message of chest checking and awareness of CoppaFeel. If you’d like to find out more or join UniBoob, visit their Students’ Union page.
