We’re excited to bring you another update with regards to Wi-Fi coverage across our campuses, including to our libraries and lecture theatres.

As a direct result of your feedback, we’re continuing to upgrade our facilities and are committed to bringing you better signal and wider coverage on campus to support your studies.

In January, we completed upgrades to the Bay Campus Library with a new Wi-Fi design using the latest equipment. The new access points we’ve installed will improve signal coverage in our buildings and provide a better Wi-Fi experience with a higher speed, and more stable connection.

What’s next?

We’re now in the final stages of upgrading Wi-Fi on Singleton Campus, replacing over 1,000 access points, and in March we’ll be replacing over 700 existing Wi-Fi access points across Bay Campus.

But it doesn’t end there, we’re also upgrading Wi-Fi to 120 of our largest lecture theatres and teaching spaces across both campuses, so you can be assured of fast, reliable Wi-Fi access during your lectures, seminars and classes.

Once complete, the network refresh project will have installed and upgraded over 3,330 access points. This will enhance your overall learning experience, enabling you to access our wide range of digital learning resources, facilitate collaboration and provide consistent, high quality Wi-Fi service in every building.

Are these the types of improvements you want to continue seeing?
