Take action and study smart: Download and save critical resources
As we approach the end of term, now is the perfect time to make sure you’ve downloaded and saved the key resources you’ll need for coursework, revision, and research. With the University closed from 24 December to 4 January, and library and IT support limited to our online guides and knowledge base during this period, it’s important to take action now to protect your work and ensure uninterrupted access to everything you need, especially if you’re travelling.
To help you stay prepared and organised, we’ve pulled together our top tips so you always have your essential materials at hand:
Download any critical material you are using or you’ll need for your coursework, revision and research.
Avoid relying on links or bookmarks, as these can change or in case access is disrupted.
Save your sources and citations, allowing you to reference whenever you need to.
Use our Document Supply service if we don’t have the article you need.
Taking these small steps now will help ensure your work isn’t interrupted, and you always have what you need, even when working offline.
Being prepared can help avoid any last-minute stress. Remember, your Library team is here to support you with 24/7/365 though our online guides and Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm through our live chat, by email or in person at the Information Desks until 23rd December and again from 5th January.
Regards,
Libraries & Collections.
