Research has demonstrated that noticing good things in nature can improve your wellbeing.
Join Welfare@CampusLife on Wednesday afternoons (starting 30th October) for a short walk and to practise the “three good things” wellbeing exercise.
Being in nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, but it also contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.
This is the perfect activity to enhance your wellbeing during busy periods of study and coursework.
This event will take place entirely outdoors, please ensure you wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear.
