The Library and Collections Team have recently installed a professional level Walk-Up Bookeye-5 A2 Scanner with Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This new addition to the library is a much-welcomed asset, offering a variety of intuitive features to support all academia and projects, including:

1. Professional-level, self-service scanning

2. Built-in OCR capabilities: Users can scan printed material and convert it into editable and searchable text through Optical Character Recognition technology. This feature is particularly useful for students who need to extract and manipulate text from scanned documents for research or study purposes.

3. A2 sized book cradle (for larger texts/posters etc.)

4. Automated features (Auto-crop and page-splitting)

5. Support for large batch scanning projects.

You can find the scanner located in the printing area of Singleton Park Library.
