As we approach the Easter vacation, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a well-deserved break.
Swansea University will be operating an extended bank holiday period from the 28th March up until the 3rd April, so many of our services will be open reduced hours. To enable you to plan ahead please see the information below on service opening times.
Please contact your school information team if you have any queries regarding teaching or placements scheduled for the additional University bank holiday closure days.
MyUniHub and Faculty Information Teams
Our information desks will be open as normal and contact hours will remain the same over the Easter vacation, however these services will be closed for the extended bank holiday period.
University Libraries
The Library building on Singleton and Bay campuses will remain open over the Easter vacation 24/7. Please note however, the MyUni Library desk will be closed on the Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday but operating the usual weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend.
St David’s Park Library will be open as normal on Thursday 28th March and closed for the Easter bank Holiday until the 2nd April.
Catering Outlets
Please note that our catering outlet opening times will be changing over the Easter period. For opening hours from March 23rd, click here. Opening hours will be back to normal from April 14th.
Bus Services
During the Easter vacation period (from 22nd March to the start of the Spring Term), the 90, 91 and 92 services will continue to run. These will be hourly services during the vacation period. You will find timetables online here.
Students’ Union
The Students’ Union offices will be closed from Thursday 28th March, and will reopen on Thursday 11th April.
Swansea Bay Sports Park
We’ll be open as normal on the additional University closure dates on Thursday 28th March and Tuesday 2nd April but there will be some changes to our opening hours over Easter, make sure you’re up to date here.
If you have any questions during the extended closure period, please use the MyUni website to see if your query can be answered, otherwise, University staff will answer any questions as soon as possible when normal hours resume on the 3rd April.
