The following travel information aims to help you get to your exams on time this May.

Be sure to plan well ahead and know your exam venue (details below). Instead of catching the last bus before your exam, give yourself plenty of time!

If traveling by Bus:

You can purchase Tap on, Tap off tickets on All First Bus services across the whole Swansea Bay network throughout the exam period. Check out the new Unibws bus services here, and use the First app or website to hep you plan your journey.

From Sketty, Uplands and Walters Road:

  • To Bay and Singleton Campus – Please check out the new timetable for the 91 service here.

From City Centre (Quadrant Bus Station):

  • To Bay Campus – number 90, 91, X1, X5, X7 and 38 from bays D to G
  • To Singleton Campus, Swansea Bay Sports Park Sports Hall, Brangwyn Hall – number 3, 3a, 91, 92, 4 from Bays R to X (outside Singleton Campus)

From Roost/True:

  • To Singleton Campus, Swansea Bay Sports Park Sports Hall, Brangwyn Hall – number 92 (see timetable) Outside True and Roost.
  • To Bay Campus from True and Roost– number 90 (see timetable)
  • To Bay Campus from just Roost – (90a every 30 mins)

In addition to the above services, Adventure Travel’s T6 service can be used to reach Bay Campus. The service goes from City Centre bus station to Brecon via Bay Campus.

Exam coaches

For students traveling between campuses, a direct service being operated by South Wales Transport will run from Singleton to Bay Campus and Bay to Singleton Campus.

  • For students traveling from Singleton Campus to Bay Campus:

To Bay Campus via Recreation Ground, St Helens Cricket Ground and Bay Campus. This will be a South Wales Transport service which will depart Singleton Campus (outside Fulton House) at 8:30am and 13:00pm.

  • For students traveling from Bay Campus to Singleton Campus:

To Swansea Bay Sports Park Sports Hall and Brangwyn Hall, the South Wales Transport service will depart Bay Campus at 8:30am and 13:00pm.

There will be after exam return pickups leaving Singleton and Bay Campus at 12.30 and 4.30pm.

Fabian Way Park and Ride shuttle service to Bay Campus

For students driving to an exam on Bay Campus, we recommend using the Fabian Way Park and Ride, from where a free shuttle service will be available. Look out for the South Wales Transport coaches.

If you are cycling

Remember that Santander Cycles bikes are available at both Singleton and Bay Campuses as well Mumbles and Fabian Way Park and Ride.

In addition, free Locks, lights, and puncture repair kits are available from My Uni Hub receptions on both campuses, the Tower Bay Campus and Fulton House Reception Singleton Campus.
