Many of you will be sitting exams and assessments over the course of the next few weeks and we’d like to take this opportunity to provide you with some useful information to help you prepare.

Exam Venues

Not sure where an exam venue is? The campus maps feature in the MySwansea App offers an interactive and detailed layout of all the University’s campuses. Including building locations, points of interest, exam venues, directions, and a categories filter to refine whatever you may be trying to find!

You can also click here for directions and a map of our External Exam Venues (the Sports Hall and the Brangwyn Hall).

Exam Buses and Travel

Our number one priority is getting you to your exams on time, so in anticipation of increased footfall and busy periods, additional coaches have been organised.

Support and Wellbeing

Navigating the assessment period can be stressful so we have a variety of resources at Swansea University to support you during this time.

Hapus is an online toolkit with tonnes of information and tips on battling procrastination, managing stress and uncertainty, and developing resilience.

Here’s an example of the kind of advice you can expect to see:

Sometimes, getting started is the hardest part of doing a task. Make a contract with yourself that you will put your all into a task for just 10 minutes. Add a reward to the contract and only give yourself this reward if you stay true to the contract agreement.

The toolkit is completely free for students and it’s a must-have resource for exam season. You can access the toolkit via Canvas here.

The Students’ Union also have an independent Advice and Support Centre, which is available to students who have concerns during assessment periods.
