During the Easter vacation period (from 22nd March to the start of the Spring Term), the 90, 91 and 92 services will continue to run. These will be hourly services during the vacation period. You will find timetables online here.
The Park and Ride shuttle service is now in place and running well, thank you to everyone who has used this so far. You can access the timetable which will run up until 7th June 2024 here.
Simplified fares and ‘Tap on Tap off’
First Bus have also reviewed their ticket pricing and are introducing simplified fares from 31st March so you only pay for the travel you need.
You’ll pay no more than £3.50 a day for unlimited travel within the UniBws network and £6 for all day travel anywhere on the First Cymru network. These rates become even cheaper if purchased with a mytravel on the First Bus app.
First Bus will also be introducing ‘Tap on Tap Off’ to its wider network in Wales very soon. Introduction of ‘Tap on Tap Off’ means all bus users will have their ticket fare capped at a day ticket or week ticket price. As long as you are tapping on and off, your bus fare will not amount to more than a day ticket or a week ticket, no matter how many journeys you take!
For all UniBws services, Tap on Tap Off will be set at £3.50, or £2.35 with a mytravelpass.
For all other service purchases, we still recommend purchasing your ticket via the First Bus app.
